Ida Prester

She started the band Lollobrigida, which grew from a hobby to a life calling. At the same time, she started working as a presenter at HTV, first Briljanteen, and then numerous other shows. The world of media and music completely overtook her and irrevocably distanced her from the profession. For over 15 years she has been a moderator of Weekend Media Festival and Days of Communication in Rovinj.   In 2019, she became the face of the campaign “You are not alone – check with us!”. The campaign encouraged women to self-examine their breasts. The self-examination video went viral, saved over 20 lives (reported cases), and the campaign won numerous awards from the profession. In recent years she has been leading numerous conferences, seminars, award ceremonies, writing columns, and successfully building a musical solo career as an author of music, lyrics and discographer of all her releases.     Last year, she launched a regional campaign against violence against women ‘Štit’ (shield). Numerous public figures from all countries in the region participated in the campaign.
