Žaklina Tatalović

Born in Belgrade, ended up in journalism by chance, on her way to medical school. Same bus drove to both univerisites, but because of expected bombing of Serbia those days it stoped only in front of Faculty for Political Science, and instead of stetoscope she ended up with the microphone.

Iako je željela postati kardiokirurg, ostalo je to da može operirati ljudska srca i mikrofonom. Neka može umiriti, neka ispuniti, a neka i vrlo uznemiriti.

She starts her carier at TV BK right after 1999 bombing if Serbia, professors are not so happy about that but for the next two years there are no lectures at the university. Aleksandar Tijanić i Ivan Radivojević are sending her to Kosovo in 2000. She was a youngest reporter there and fulfilled her task there portraying as a Dutch journalist. On TV BK she also learned from Bojana Lekić and Zoran Baranac.

After working for 7 years as a journalist she gets an invite from FOX TV, that was starting it’s operations in Serbia. Zoran Kusovac gave her an opportunity out of spite to all who were supporting the Government because he wanted someone to criticize it with style. FOX stayed in Serbia for 4 years. In one day management fired all but her and 4 other journalists who were selected to wait for the new management from Greece.

From 2010 they continue working under the name TV Prva (First TV). They invested a lot into news programm and because of that Žaklina gets to report from UN, Hague, Berlin, India, Abu Dhabi and much more places, and her task becomes to follow one man, Aleksandar Vučić. When she couldn’t do it anymore for both health reasons and morality she decided to quit Prva TV.

Few months later she get’s an invite from TV N1 and from 2018 becomes a part of, at that time, only free TV in Serbia.
