Tanja Jurin

Psychologist

Tanja Jurin is a psychologist and an assistant professor at the Department of Health and Clinical Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She specializes in clinical psychology and has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Her work encompasses a broad range of research as well as the prevention and improvement of mental health. She is the head of the Counseling Center for students and a co-owner of the Psychological Center Nit. In the field of sexuality, she is engaged in research, education, and counseling. Her research explores topics such as sexual desire, sexual satisfaction, sexual fantasies, well-being, as well as sexual disturbances and disorders. In addition to numerous training sessions for professionals and the general population, Tanja has designed and teaches the course “Psychology of Sexuality.” Since 2012, she has been a licensed sexual therapist. Besides working with individuals experiencing mental health issues, she is involved in the treatment of individuals seeking help for sexual problems and disorders. Tanja Jurin is a member of the Croatian Society for Sexual Therapy.
