Tirany called choice

Today's odern society, more than ever, emphasizes the power of individuality and convinces us that all power, freedom of choice and the secret of success are in our hands. Is that really so? Do we really have unlimited choices and who influences our choices? And if we can do everything, why is apathy and burnout syndrome more pronounced in the era of neoliberalism? What kind of message does the fact that in a society overloaded with (negative) information send us, more and more often, we are not interested in the news and run away from the pressure of social media? These are the questions to which the Slovenian philosopher and sociologist Renata Salecl will answer.
