Sanja Jurica, MD

Dr. Sanja Jurica is a Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics with many years of clinical and outpatient experience. After 15 years of work at the University Hospital Centre Rijeka, where she began her career in the emergency department and later continued at the Clinic of Gynecology and Obstetrics, she gained additional professional experience for almost the same length of time at Medico Polyclinic. During her work in the hospital system, she participated in surgical procedures and delivery room work, including demanding on-call shifts with a high number of births.

At Medico Polyclinic, she developed an individualized approach to patient care and participated in pioneering projects, including the introduction of HPV vaccination in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. Her long-standing desire to create her own practice focused on comprehensive women’s healthcare led to the opening of a private gynecology practice.

In her daily work, she provides a wide range of gynecological and obstetric services. Her professional interests include counseling and treatment related to contraception, infertility, as well as changes associated with premenopause and postmenopause.
