Sabina Glasovac

Vicepresident of the Croatian Parliament

Sabina Glasovac was elected to the Croatian Parliament for the first time in 2015. She currently holds the position of vice-president of the Croatian Parliament, vice-president of the Club of SDP representatives in the Croatian Parliament and vice-president of the Social Democratic Party of Croatia. Areas of her special political interest are education, social policy and gender equality. Working in the parliamentary committees for education, science and culture, gender equality and family, youth and sports is especially enjoyable. In addition, she is a member of the delegation of the Croatian Parliament to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, where she works through the committee for Equality and Non-Discrimination and the parliamentary network Women Free from Violence.

She graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zadar. Before her parliamentary mandate, she worked at the Franja Petrić High School in Zadar (MIOC), and then at the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports as an advisor, and later as an assistant minister in the mandate of Željko Jovanović and Vedran Mornar.
