Nadja Schaps Horvat

Nadja Schaps Horvat is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LQ, a consulting firm specializing in leadership development, organizational transformation, and business performance enhancement. Throughout her career, she has led numerous organizational development and transformation projects, helping companies achieve sustainable results through strong leadership and the cultivation of organizational culture. Her focus is on strengthening organizational capabilities, developing innovative solutions, and creating long-term value for clients and teams.

She began her career at a private equity (PE) fund, progressing from investment analyst roles to a Management Board position responsible for regulatory compliance, human resources, and legal matters. Following this, she co-founded a consulting firm focused on M&A, and in recent years served as CEO of one of Croatia’s largest health tourism companies, with clinics in Croatia and Italy.

Within the Lead You association, which she co-founded, Nadja developed a mentoring program aimed at empowering individuals in their professional development, building confidence, and enhancing leadership competencies at various stages of their careers. The program connects experienced professionals with mentees through a structured process of knowledge sharing, experience exchange, and practical tools for personal and professional growth. The first cycle included 110 women and 67 mentoring pairs.

She is also a co-founder of PWMN Zagreb (Professional Women and Men Network Zagreb), an organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering individuals to create a society with equal professional opportunities. Born in Germany and raised in a bilingual environment, Nadja is fluent in Croatian, German, English, Spanish, and Russian. She holds a degree from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb and has pursued further studies at the Faculty of Economics in Zurich and Lomonosov University in Moscow.
