MD Petra Kejla

Dr. Petra Kejla, a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zagreb. After completing her mandatory internship, she worked in the outpatient emergency department of HMP Petrinja and served as a physician for the women’s national football team.

She completed her specialization in gynecology and obstetrics at the Clinical Hospital Merkur and University Hospital Centre Zagreb. During her specialization, she finished the postgraduate program “Ultrasound in Gynecology and Obstetrics” at KB Sveti Duh. As part of her specialization, she was a scholarship recipient at Weill Cornell Medicine Centre New York and The Medical University of Vienna. She also completed the Salzburg Weill Cornell Seminars on “Gynecology” and “Gynecological Oncology.”

Dr. Kejla has participated in several international courses on minimally invasive gynecological surgery, including the “IRCAD Advanced Techniques in Operative Gynecological Endoscopy” in Strasbourg and the “Maribor workshop of advanced laparoscopic procedures in gynecology.” She has spent time at foreign clinics on multiple occasions for further training.

Currently, she is working on her doctoral dissertation as part of the postgraduate doctoral program in Biomedicine and Health at the Faculty of Medicine.

Her particular areas of interest include ultrasound diagnostics and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Dr. Kejla is highly dedicated to her patients, striving to create an atmosphere of trust and security. She successfully contributes to improving the lives of her patients and continuously works on professional development to enhance her individual approach to women, keeping up with the latest gynecological trends.
