Marina Puljiz
Marina Puljiz, Executive Director of the Small Business Segment at PBZ d.d., holds a master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and Auditing from the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. She also completed an additional master’s at ESCP Business School in Paris, where she is currently finishing her doctoral dissertation through the Panthéon-Sorbonne program. Throughout her 25-year professional career, she has been fully dedicated to banking. She began her career in client services at Croatia banka d.d. and the Credit Risk Management Sector at PBZ d.d., after which she spent over 17 years in leadership positions as Director of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Banking at SG-Splitska banka d.d., Board Member at Partner banka d.d., and Executive Director of the Sector for Corporate, Public Sector, and Financial Institution Banking at HPB d.d. Part of her career at HPB d.d. was focused on product and process development and payment services, serving as Executive Director of the Sector.
In 2024, she joined PBZ d.d., a member of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, as Executive Director of Small Business Banking. In this role, she is responsible for managing small business operations through a network of 10 business centers and 53 Sinergo desks across Croatia. She also oversees the development of credit products and payment services for small businesses, with a particular focus on implementing modern technological solutions and digitalizing business processes to best adapt PBZ d.d. to the needs of small entrepreneurs.
