Karla Pudar is a project manager in the field of culture and human rights, with the experience gained in public institutions as well as in the civil sector. She studied art history and Croatian studies at Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb. For years, she worked in the Culture Department of the Student center Zagreb – Culture of changes in production and cultural management. She also worked in Zagreb’s non-governmental organizations in the fields of culture and human rights. Over the years she led international projects, curated numerous art programs and exhibitions, participated in different artistic committees and led educational workshops. As a result of the terrible earthquakes in the area Sisak-Moslavina County, she is employed at SOLIDARNA – Foundation for Human Rights i solidarity, starting as a coordinator of aid in Fund 5.5 for support of earthquake victims, a currently as program leader and general secretary of SOLIDARNA. Karla Pudar is the manager of the Fund for women to protect women’s rights and promote gender equality.
