Jasminka Horvat Martinović

Jasminka Horvat Martinović graduated in applied mathematics and computer science at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Zagreb. She started her career in insurance in 1998, and in 2003 she became a member of the Generali Group Management Board and remained in that position until 2013. Since November 2013, she has been employed at Wiener osiguranje VIG d.d. as a member of the Management Board. Since then, she has been responsible for non-life insurance, cooperation with the broker channel, corporate insurance and reinsurance. In May 2018, Erste osiguranje VIG was merged with Wiener osiguranje VIG, and Jasminka Horvat Martinović became the new President of the Management Board of Wiener osiguranje VIG.

In December 2020 and 2021, she was included in Lider’s top ten most powerful women in Croatian business. The MBA Croatia Association declared her the manager of the year for 2020, and this special award is given to leaders and experts recognized by the members of the association for their exceptional contribution to creating a better and more advanced society. The Croatian Association of Managers and Entrepreneurs, CROMA 2020, also named her manager of the year.

She is a regular member of the Croatian Actuarial Society, a member of the Board of Directors of the Croatian Insurance Office and a member of the Scientific Council of the Center for the Education of Insurance Employees at the Croatian Insurance Office.
