Ivana Kalogjera

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, journalist Ivana Kalogjera Brkić founded the portal Nismo Same and the association of the same name. The association is best known to the public for the project “You Are Not Alone – We Go With You!”, a new social service providing taxi transport for chemotherapy. In recognition of her efforts to destigmatize women with cancer and promote their full acceptance in society and the workplace, she was awarded the Zagrepčanka of the Year prize by the City Assembly of Zagreb on 8 March 2025.
