Irina Bručić

Irina Bručić, CEO of Nexi Croatia d.o.o. and General Manager of Nexi Slovenia d.o.o., holds a degree in Finance from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb. She began her professional career as an auditor, before quickly transitioning to financial management. Over the next 15 years, she held senior finance positions within companies of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, with a particular focus on digital payments.

After Intesa Sanpaolo sold its digital payments processing operations in 2016 and following the integration of the company into the Nets Group, Irina continued her career in finance, establishing a shared financial services center in Zagreb. In early 2021, she assumed the role of Director for Croatia and Slovenia.

Following the 2022 integration of Nets and Nexi, leading technology providers in the payments sector, and the expansion of Nexi Croatia’s card acceptance services in early 2023, Irina took on the role of CEO of Nexi Croatia, assuming full responsibility for card acceptance and digital payments processing operations. This year, she also joined the Management Board of Nexi CE in Slovakia.
