dr. med. Alenka Jajac-Knez

Alenka Jajac-Knez has nearly 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry where she began her career as a medical representative. Over the years at JGL, she has held various operational and strategic leadership positions in sales, marketing and portfolio management, gaining experience in different aspects of the industry.

Throughout her career, she served as a member of the Management Board of the The Croatian Association of the Self-Medication Industry – CASI, contributing to the development of the Association. As a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Biotechnology and Drug Development at the University of Rijeka, she has shared her knowledge and experience with younger generations on several occasions.

From the very beginning, she has supported the organization of the Summer School of Diving Medicine in cooperation with the Croatian Medical Students’ International Committee, further strengthening JGL’s role within the academic community.

In 2016, she assumed the position of Director of Market Operations at JGL, managing 19 markets, including all those where the company has its own operations.

She is a member of two Supervisory Boards within JGL, the Portfolio Management Board, and part of the company’s leadership team.

Alenka graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Rijeka and earned her MBA from Cotrugli Business School in Zagreb.
