Dajana Mrčela

Born in Osijek where she graduated from Faculty of Economics and Business in 1993. She recevied the Rector’s award for exceptional success.

Since 2006, she has been a member of the Saponia Management Board, and at the end of 2019 she became the President of the Saponia Management Board. With
position in Saponia, after the acquisition of Kandit, in 2014 she became a member of the Kandit Management Board, responsible for
for commercial affairs, raising business to a higher level while achieving significant results on the market.
She is a member of the Economic Council and Deputy President of the Osijek County Chamber of Croatian Economy
chamber (elected in 2021). In 2022, she was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of HGK.
Winner of the MBA Croatia award for business woman of the year 2021 and by the professional international
the jury declared Global Compact Network Croatia SDG Pioneer 2022 as a business leader who
by example, through work and commitment, contributes to the goals of sustainable development and inspires others to do the same.

In 2022, she was one of the founders of the Association of Processing Industry and Activities in Technology (UPIDuT), and at the founding assembly, she was appointed president of UPIDuT.
