Associate professor Andrea Lučić, PhD has been employed at the Department of Marketing at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb since 2009, where she teaches the courses Principles of Marketing, Marketing and Sustainable Development, Event Management, and Ethics and Sustainable Marketing.

She graduated in 2007 from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, majoring in Finance, and in 2012 she completed her postgraduate studies in Marketing Management. During her studies, she received four Dean’s awards for outstanding academic performance and a scholarship from the City of Zagreb and the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports for outstanding academic success. She obtained the title of Doctor of Science at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb in 2015 by defending her doctoral dissertation “Sustainable Marketing as a Determinant of Business Success”.

Since 2020, she has been the leader of a five-year scientific project of the Croatian Science Foundation called “Strengthening the financial ability of young consumers through education and behavioral intervention programs – EtFICAcY”. In addition to research, she is also the co-head of the educational and professional programs BUDI FIN – Financially Literate and Responsible and Financial literacy week. She is the co-author of a number of relevant scientific articles in the field of financial behavior of young people, the psychology of consumption and consumer minimalism, published in the country and abroad.
