Ana Pecotić

House of Branding
Therapist, Activist, Author, Marketing & Business Consultant & Owner

Ana Pecotić is an activist who has been working for years on issues of gender-based violence. As a member of the #Spasime Initiative – one of the most influential civic movements in Croatia – she has contributed to significant legislative and social changes in the protection of women who are survivors of violence. Through her public, media, and advocacy work, she consistently draws attention to systemic and institutional failures in victim protection that can lead to the most extreme form of violence against women: femicide.

Alongside her activism, Ana is directly involved in working with survivors of violence as part of her education in psychotherapy, which she will complete in 2026, earning the title of Gestalt counseling therapist. Her particular focus lies in the psychological consequences of long-term abuse, trauma, and the re-victimization of women within institutional systems.

She also addresses issues of violence against women, women’s rights, and social responsibility as a contributing author for Elle Croatia, where she uses the written word to foster public dialogue and raise broader awareness.

Originally trained as a marketing professional, Ana brings over twenty years of experience in leading marketing operations within renowned multinational companies. For the past five years, she has worked as a consultant through her own agency, House of Branding, specializing in strategic marketing and communications.
