Menopause Up Close: Symptoms, Changes, and Support

Amid work, family, responsibilities, and the constant pace of daily life, the changes brought by peri/menopause often arrive quietly – but powerfully. This workshop creates a space for understanding, raising awareness, offering support, and providing practical tools to experience this phase of life as a natural transition rather than a burden.

We begin with an introduction by Dr. Sanja Jurica, who presents the program and participants and sets the framework for the conversation – open, professional, and candid.

In the first part, Dr. Natalija Vuletić brings us closer to peri/menopause from a medical perspective: what happens in the body, the most common symptoms, what is typical, and when it’s important to seek medical advice. We break the stigma around terms that often cause discomfort and emphasize how education, awareness, and open dialogue are key to every woman’s well-being.

In the second part, actress Daria Lorenci Flatz shares her personal perspective and experience – honest, warm, and authentic. Through guided breathing exercises and gentle stretching, designed to be done in everyday clothes and without special equipment, participants receive simple tools to reduce tension and better connect with their bodies. The atmosphere is relaxed, supportive, and focused on embracing one’s own rhythm and changes.

Finally, Dr. Sanja Jurica wraps up the workshop and introduces upcoming events in the EXPO zone. This is a space for understanding, raising awareness, support, and the feeling that we are not alone.

Activities aimed at raising awareness about menopause are supported by Astellas d.o.o.
