In addition to Rijeka being a symbol of free spirit, Rijeka is also a city that can be proud of its turbulent and rich cultural history. It is an interesting fact that Rijeka is one of the few Croatian cities whose name is feminine, making it an ideal gathering place for women from the region and the world. Rijeka is a place that offers quality content and offers such as top hotels, restaurants with a Michelin star, cultural content, places for day and night entertainment. This was all the incentive to hold the first Women's Weekend in this city!
The second Women's Weekend will be held in the Art kvarta area, which has established itself as the cultural focal point of the city of Rijeka. The former neglected industrial complex, which the people of Rijeka call "Benčić", and today a revitalized cultural priority of the City of Rijeka, revived the entire area and became one of the largest cultural infrastructure projects in Croatia. The Art Quarter consists of the Museum of the City of Rijeka, commercial ground floor spaces, the Children's House, the Stribor Department of the City Library, the Art Cinema, the City Puppet Theatre, the City Library and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.
